Making it Count: Enhance Your Career Planning for Professional Success

On Wednesday, November 6, 2013, APIASF held a Career Planning event for students and young professionals in New York, NY. Workshop participants looking to accelerate their careers learned about a diverse range of career opportunities at some of the nation's leading companies, their corporate responsibility and how to make career planning count. During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to interact with some of the nation's top corporate executives on how to find jobs that match one's academic background and professional skills, hear from industry leaders about corporate responsibility and the diverse range of career opportunities that exist, learn how a personal portfolio of skills can make a positive impact on one's professional success and get advice on developing marketable skills such as problem solving, strategic thinking and team building.
