Mr. & Mrs. Jesus E Gonzales
On behalf of my twin and me, I would like to thank you so much for this scholarship. I can't quite put into words how much this award means to us. Throughout these four years, my twin and I struggled endlessly to help my father and to pay or our education. Most recently, my grandpa in Vietnam just passed away and my father has not been working for quite sometime because he had to go back to Vietnam and prepare my grandpa's funeral. When my father returned home, he got fired from United Taxi because his limousine was considered "too old." With graduation just around the corner, and taking on the task of pay the house rent and bills again, along with coming up with enough money to fly up to Massachusetts for college, we didn't think it was possible. This scholarship has most brighten mine's and Jasmine's week because it will reduce our loans tremendously. Since I am currently working 2 jobs, I fully understand how hard it is to come up with $2000. I know that even if I worked 18 hours a day I wouldn't be able to save $2000 due to my father's current status so I want to thank you for helping us and for always informing us when the papers were due. I really want to again thank you and everyone who made this possible. The APIASF generosity is highly appreciated and I don't just want to thank you for the money, because what I'm most thankful for is having a stranger help us get into college and help us create a better life for ourselves. In the future, when I DO become successful, my sister and I will never forget the generosity you and your organization has done for us. Thank you with all our hearts,
Sara Marie Le and Jasmine Le
